The Serendipity Story

400dpiLogoCropped.jpg

Serendipity Psych was born from a dream shared between two colleagues who had talked for over five years about opening a practice of their own. The timing never seemed quite right—until the fall of 2019, when a series of events created the perfect opportunity to turn that dream into reality.

From the start, helping others has been the heart of our mission. Dallas and Ariana first connected while working at a local agency, fresh out of graduate school. They bonded over their shared passion for mental health, their love of the TV show Psych, and their commitment to constantly improving their clinical skills. Together, they brought over 22 years of combined experience in the mental health field, including outpatient therapy, crisis intervention, emergency room support, and risk management.

At Serendipity Psych, everything we do is centered around our clients. We are a private-pay practice because we believe it allows for greater privacy, autonomy, and more effective therapeutic outcomes. We understand that every person’s journey is unique, and honoring that journey is key to helping clients move toward healing and growth.

We take time to understand what brings each individual to therapy and prioritize creating a space that allows for openness, trust, and meaningful work. By keeping our practice intentionally small, we’re able to maintain deep therapeutic relationships and ensure each client receives the focused, tailored support they deserve.

Serendipity is more than a name—it’s our promise to help clients find meaningful change and connection, even in unexpected places.

Fact about Serendipity Psych: Our tree, which we refer to as the "Serendipity Psych Giving tree," is one of the first things you will notice when you enter our waiting room. For the past 8+ years, Dallas and his family have erected a "giving tree" in their home. All of the gifts and donations they receive throughout the year are collected here. Every year, we strive to accomplish more and have a bigger influence on the neighborhood. We want to use this tree to motivate ourselves and the people we work with every day to give a little more, work a little harder and aim a little higher.
