About Serendipity Psych

Serendipity was created by two coworkers who had been discussing how they wanted to open their own practice for over 5 years, but the timing never seemed to be right. The dream, however, never died. A series of events unfolded in the fall of 2019 that resulted in the ideal opportunity to realize their dreams. Helping others is what first drew these two colleagues together; both were fresh out of graduate school and working at a local agency. They bonded over their mutual love of the TV show Psych, as well as their desire to always improve their talents. Dallas and Ariana have over 16 years of combined expertise in the Mental Health profession. They have considerable expertise with outpatient therapy, crisis management, and working in hospital and emergency rooms. They are also experts in risk management and mediation. Their ambition is to use their knowledge and passion to benefit their community.

Serendipity is all about our clients and doing everything we can to help them. We are a private pay practice because we believe it affords greater privacy and autonomy of care, resulting in better therapeutic outcomes. Everyone has their own unique life journey that leads them to where they are, and understanding that is crucial in guiding clients toward bettering their lives and well-being.

At Serendipity, we take the time to learn about each client's individual experience that brought them to this point. Our top concern is assisting our clients' and their families' personal growth and recovery. Knowing our clients well is a key element in achieving this; we devote not just our time but also our enthusiasm to assisting them in doing so. Every client should be given enough time to tell their experience so they can receive tailored care. This is accomplished by keeping the practice small, as doing so benefits both the client-therapist relationship and the therapeutic process in general.

Fact about Serendipity Psych: Our tree, which we refer to as the "Serendipity Psych Giving tree," is one of the first things you will notice when you enter our waiting room. For the past 8+ years, Dallas and his family have erected a "giving tree" in their home. All of the gifts and donations they receive throughout the year are collected here. Every year, we strive to accomplish more and have a bigger influence on the neighborhood. We want to use this tree to motivate ourselves and the people we work with every day to give a little more, work a little harder and aim a little higher.
